What is Canvas?
Designed specifically for K-12 teachers and students, Canvas is an easy-to-use, cloud-based learning management system (LMS) that connects all the digital tools and resources teachers use into one simple place.
Canvas replaces our old eDiary system and also Schoology. We choose Canvas after a lengthy investigation into Learning Management Systems and it was selected for it's flexibility, ease of use, stringent data storage and sovereignty policies.
What will I find on Canvas?
Currently Canvas will have listed all the homework for students. This will build over time as Staff add more content to their courses and you will be able to see assignments and course content.
How do I Log In to Canvas?
a Canvas account has been created for each guardian under the email address they use for Caremonkey. When you go to the login page you will need to select the Reset Password link and Canvas will then email you a link to change your password.

How do I use Canvas?
Checking Homework and Assignments is easy. All you need to do is look at the Calendar. Please see the below guide for more information.
Canvas has a comprehensive notification system which can be adjusted depending on how much or how often you wish to be notified. By default Canvas sends out notifications to your email account when there are changes or new Homework/Assignments issued or Announcements. To change the notification settings please follow the guide below.
