Uniform Policy

Enrolment at CBC implies the acceptance of the following uniform regulations. Students must conform to regulation CBC uniform standards on all College occasions or whilst representing the College at formal functions, unless otherwise directed.

  • Uniform must be kept neat and clean at all times.
  • If for any reason the uniform cannot be worn an explanatory note signed by the parent/guardian must be given to the student’s Homeroom Teacher.
  • The blazer is to be worn to and from the College all year round.
  • The tie is to be worn in the accepted manner, the top shirt button fastened at the neck.
  • Shoes are to be black leather lace-up and properly polished.
  • The CBC backpack is compulsory – no other type of school bag is to be used.
  • The College Sport Uniform is to be worn in its entirety. No other tracksuit is acceptable.
  • Hoodies and beanies are not part of the College uniform and must not be worn to school.
  • Standards of uniform and behaviour must be maintained travelling to and from the College.

  • Students may wear the CBC Sports Uniform Spray Jacket over their blazer only when it is raining.
The following items are not permitted
  • Earrings or rings
  • Bandaids worn on ears to cover earrings
  • Clear plastic earrings
  • Bracelets of any type
  • Sweatbands

One neck chain and watch are considered acceptable

Hair & Grooming

The standard haircut is for hair to be cut above the ears and off the face. Ponytails, undercuts, mohawks, pattern cuts, hair colouring and sideburns beyond the ear are not permited. Hair should be off the collar and no tails. Students must be clean-shaven at all times at school. Visible tattoos are not permited at the College. These guidelines including during study and examination periods.

The College reserves the right to send students home if they do not meet the above agreed expectations in regards to the College uniform.

  • Term 3: Winter Uniform (Compulsory)
  • Term 4: Summer Uniform (Compulsory)

    For new students commencing and those who require a full uniform fitting, it is imperative that you make an appointment with the uniform shop by calling 9510 3715.

    The CBC Uniform Shop will close for the school holidays from Thursday September 21nd at 4pm and will reopen for Term 4 on Saturday 7th October at 9am to 1pm

    Monday 9th October at 8am to 4pm (1st Day of term)

    Regular Trading hours from Tuesday 10th October 2017

    • Term 4 Trading Hours
    • Saturday October 7th 9am to 1pm
    • Monday October 9th 8am to 4pm
    • Tuesday October 10th 8am to 4pm
    • Thursday October 12th 8am to 4pm

    The CBC Uniform Shop will then continue its Normal Trading Hours from Tuesday October 10th 2017

    Uniform trading hours are

    Tuesday and Thursday 8am to 4pm, and the First Saturday of the month 9am to 1pm.

    P&F Secondhand Uniform ‘Shop 19’

    The P&F secondhand Uniform Shop, ‘Shop 19’, is open for purchases, donations and sale on consignment – usually on the first Saturday morning of each month.

    ‘Shop 19’ Opening Dates & Times:
    • 9:30am-11:30am Sat 7th Oct
    • 9:30am-11:30am Sat 28th Oct (in lieu of Sat 4th Nov Cup Weekend)
    • 11:30am-12:30pm Sat 25th Nov (prior to 2018 Transition BBQ)

    NB: the secondhand uniform shop will not be open in December, however January & February 2018 opening dates will be determined and advertised shortly.
